I’m Berkley, the creator of Bering Projects.
Bering is my middle name, named after my grandmother who was a skilled painter, and a woman who really beat to her own drum.
I am a custom Shopify & Squarespace designer by trade, and helping small biz is a passion of mine. I’ve always loved the energy of it all and being part of it. When I was fresh out of college, I started a candle company that had crystals and different essential oils infused to help with manifestation. I spent weekends selling at farmers markets. A few years after that, I started a zero-waste clothing brand. Everything was made from sustainable fabrics and hand sewn locally in my city. We were featured in publications like Refinery 29, Vogue & Forbes. The pandemic was super challenging (and also the fashion industry) - so I was fully burnt out by 2021. I shut down my online store, as well as my pop-up shop and began to focus on helping other brands with creative marketing while still doing some fun side projects here and there.
Fast forward to now- this site is home to all my creative endeavors. I am firm believe that we can just put our selves in a “box” - we are multifaceted beings. My offerings and products will change and evolve as I do.
